The program for Proud Voices, Glad Day Bookshop’s literary season for Pride Toronto, has now been released. There are many great events in the program, including a reading I’ll be appearing at (with a line-up that I’m especially excited about!). Glad Day Bookshop, Toronto’s LGBTQ bookshop (and the world’s oldest LGBTQ bookshop) has been a great supporter of my work since my early days in Canada, and it’s always a pleasure to be at Glad Day events, whether I’m behind the microphone or not.

This event has the theme of bricolage. This means that I could read practically my entire body of work (but I’ll instead read for 8-10 minutes). Here are the details from the Facebook event:

Proud Voices: Bricolage

Bricolage – A Mix of Genre and Style

Bricolage: “ n. the construction or creation from a diverse range of available things”. Genre, gender and grace, building up and breaking down. A night of readings that cross more than one boundary.
