I’m an artist who lives in Melbourne, Australia. I write fiction, freelance as a writer and perform my words onstage.

I’m working on my second book (working title: The Meaning of Life and Other Fictions). My first book is Look Who’s Morphing, a collection of fictions. Published by Giramondo PublishingLook Who’s Morphing was released in April 2009. It was shortlisted for the 2010 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Book (South East Asia and Pacific), 2009 Age Book of the Year (Fiction) and Best Writing Award 2009.

Creative work

I’ve won numerous grants and awards for my fiction. My fiction has been published in Australia, USA, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Italy, France and Sweden (here’s a list of my publications). I regularly perform my work at festivals and other events. I also have a PhD in Professional Writing.

Additional creative work

I work as a Corporate Writer for a not-for-profit organisation. I also continue to freelance as a writer. As a freelancer, I specialise in proposal writing for the not-for-profit sector. I’ve previously worked as a technical writer/business analyst, editor, freelance journalist, and much more.
